在德國工作的Mona Dohmen，非常投入於KEVIN.MURPHY的產品研發工作，Color.Me就彷彿是她的孩子一般重要，相對於此次台灣的處女秀她更抱持著莫大的熱忱而來，特別期待與台灣設計師分享KEVIN.MURPHY的美妙成果。

這次採訪透過Q&A問與答方式完整傳達Mona Dohmen的所見所聞。

過去的染髮方式希望呈現完美顏色的一致性，導致整體髮色感覺不像自然髮色，反而較像假人頭呈現的顏色；近年來反而流行一種多重色調(Multi-Tone)的效果，運用各種技術搭配鋁箔，讓染出來的顏色宛如自然髮色般呈現些微色調差異。也因為不斷地產品科技革新，技術師不需要經過複雜或艱難的技術操作，只要一個步驟便可以快速、輕鬆達到所期望的多重色調效果。

The so called Multi-Tone Effect is a big topic right now. In times before Haircolors achieve very uniform results. Client`s Hair in earlier time often looks like a helmet or like a mannequin head.

Then the industry starts finding solutions. For example they showed the hairdressers how to work with foils. The lasts things are the free hand techniques. All these techniques are there for one reason, to give the uniform haircolor a mulit ton result. The modern way of coloring hair allows hairdressers to apply in a very easy and quick way the haircolor and the results are always mulit tone effects. That’s looking very natural, modern and brilliant. And all in one step. Plug&Play.

我想大家對於顏色的期望都是希望能擁有一個「自然」髮色；即使是挑染也必須是不醒目的效果；另外就是將髮根至髮尾呈現由深至淺的漸層效果，讓色彩更自然活潑。製造這種效果的挑戰在於如何能不產生明顯分界，呈現最自然的色彩連接效果。

I thing we all try to achieve results, that are not looking artificial. If we work with highlights, they are very thin and nearly not visible. Another big thing is the Ombr? Look, that looks really natural. The target is to color the roots a bit darker than the ends. The challenge is to this with a invisible, soft connection.

我想今年最大的染髮技術突破應該在於展現最自然的色調與色澤。另外，染髮產品會以無氨與無PPD為主訴求，因為這也是消費者的主訴求；不論是氨或是PPD，對於使用者而言會是一個很大的疑慮，因此，不斷創新並創造趨勢的KEVIN.MURPHY，在Color.Me的研發上去除了這些成份，並加入了創造多重色調的效果，在染髮業界中可謂走在最前端的領先角色。

I just wan`t to show a wide spectrum. So I worked very natural with our Clear shades for example, but I also create an intense red a copper and a violet that goes into the Ombr? Look as well.

這是我第一次來到台灣，特別對台灣設計師的熱情感到印象深刻，因為無論何時何刻，即便是辛苦工作也不會抹滅他們臉上的笑容。對我而言，這個就是熱情。特別要提到的是，從踏上台灣的那一刻，一直備受大家的親切友善對待，讓我感覺宛如在家一樣的溫暖。

Yes it is my first time in Taiwan. My reflection is that everybody is very passionate. The organization was famous and I knew that it was a hard job for everybody who takes part on the organization, but I allways see smiling faces here even if they are doing a hard job. That means passionate to me. And everybody take real good care of me. It is a feeling like being home at my mother`s place.

Stay open minded for techniques that are freehand and natural. In Europe we call that “Painting”, “Balayage” or “Ombr?” Looks and they all try to achieve results that looks natural but better than the original.

我想說的是，要打開您的心胸接受各種技巧，特別是徒手技術，它可以創造出更為自然的髮色效果，在歐洲我們會稱之為Painting、Balayage或者是Ombre。
