由英國Hairdressers Journal雜誌所舉辦的British Hairdressing Awards是英國最具指標性的權威比賽，2015年度的BHA英國美髮大賽總決賽於2015年11月23日晚間在倫敦Grosvenor Hotel舉行。

<p>BHA共有16個獎項，分為9個地方區域獎、6個技術獎以及1個最榮耀的冠軍頭銜－年度髮型師，本屆由擅長前衛造型的Darren Ambrose（@D & J Ambrose）打敗已有4次獲獎紀錄的Akin Konizi、沙宣全球創意總監Mark Hayes和去年得主Mark Leeson等人，首次奪下大獎。HJ雜誌的執行總監Jayne Lewis-Orr表示，每年收到的作品都更甚以往，再再為BHA設立新的標竿，也更加確立BHA在全球指標性的地位。</p>

<p>HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, created 16 new winners, changing their lives and professional careers forever. For over thirty years these awards have been globally raising the profile of the professional hairdressing industry and now the best in this creative industry have been named for 2015. Hosted by David Walliams and Executive Director of Hairdressers Journal International, Jayne Lewis-Orr, 15 winners, alongside Darren Ambrose who won the ultimate accolade of British Hairdresser of the Year 2015, celebrated their success in style.</p>

<p>Executive Director of Hairdressers Journal International, Jayne Lewis-Orr said, “British hairdressing is regarded as the best in the world. We are leaders in this international industry and the British Hairdressing Awards recognise this talent. Each year the creativity and passion put into the entries is outstanding and the atmosphere in the Great Room, and the spirit of this industry as a whole, comes together to produce a very special evening.”</p>

<p>從頒獎人手中接下講座，Darren興奮的說：「現在的心情很激動，充滿著感謝與震驚，聽到我名字的瞬間下巴都快掉下來了！」他向Jackie，他的妻子間合夥人獻上感謝，並感謝沙龍團隊給予的支持。</p>
<p>Darren的得獎作品靈感來自油畫作品，不同色彩融合一起創造漸層暈染效果，並以精緻的編織技巧在波浪長髮上創造鮮明的線條感，如同筆刷留下的痕跡，無論在創意或技巧上都有所突破，強烈的視覺效果替Darren贏得首座大獎。</p>

<p>The finalists came together with previous winners, household names and industry icons at the esteemed event held at The Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel. The Hall of Fame welcomed three new members - Philip Bell, Bruno Marc Giamattei and Jamie Stevens, each having won their respective category three times. Setting the tone of the evening, David Walliams welcomed the guests before getting the highly anticipated awards ceremony underway. Once the nine regional winners were announced, the audience were treated to a capsule set from X Factor winner and chart-topping singer Ben Haenow. The specialist categories were then revealed and celebrated, prior to individual catwalk shows presented by each of the seven British Hairdresser of the Year Nominees before Darren Ambrose was announced as HJ’s 2015 British Hairdresser of the Year.</p>

<p>He described his collection of beautiful imagery as, ‘a collection paying homage to strong iconic woman influenced by oil paintings on canvas using an amalgamation of colour techniques and couture.’ When accepting his award Darren said: ‘I’m just absolutely gobsmacked. Massive thank-you to my wife Jackie and to my team who are amazing guys.’</p>
